"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33
Dear Bible Baptist Church Family,
In accordance with our local elected officials and the advisement of the Center’s for Disease Control (CDC), we are canceling our in-person gatherings at Bible Baptist Church until further notice that it is safe for our Services to start again.
This current cancellation includes our 10:00 AM Sunday School hour, the 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM Sunday Worship Services and 6:30 PM Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Children’s Glow Programs. This also includes any scheduled events.
The status of COVID-19 is rapidly changing, so we are closely monitoring all information and guidance from local officials and the Arkansas State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We will make decisions regarding future Worship services and will communicate those decisions on our church website at bbcruss.org.
We know that worship isn’t something we attend; it is the attitude of our hearts in response to the truths of God. Although we will not be meeting in person, and many of the elements of a typical gathering are not possible, we plan on recording the Sunday morning message and it will be available on our website bbcruss.org.
We hope you will tune in as we open God’s Word together. The messages will remain on our page and you can watch at your convenience.
Although we will not be meeting in person, we ask that you still give by mailing your tithes and offerings to the church at; 578 Sparksford Drive, Russellville, AR 72802. This ensures that ministry needs are met, and our ongoing community outreach happens without interruption. Your faithful giving enables a collective presence locally and globally, that God will use to meet physical needs that lead to Gospel conversations. Thank you for being such a giving people!
Javier and I are making plans for pastoral care for our people in this season, especially for those in our congregation who are at the highest risk.
We care deeply for those who are already affected by this and are praying for God’s healing, leading, and wisdom as we navigate the next few weeks.
If there is something specific you need, do not hesitate to let us know. If we can help, we certainly want to! We love you and are praying for God’s grace to be fully realized in your life during this time. Please feel free to contact me directly on my cell at any time.
We want you to know, we are prayerfully determining on a day-to-day basis whether further steps are needed and we will update BBCRUSS.org accordingly. Should you have additional questions/concerns that you feel we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to reach out! With God as our guide- we WILL get through this!
